- About the program:
The damage and closure of schools are threatening children's access to education, rendering them vulnerable to serious protection concerns. Additionally, the biggest challenges have been the living conditions as well as damaged schools and other educational facilities that make some schools out of service and the cease of teachers’ salaries pushed many teachers to drop out of their posts and search for other opportunities, as well as, the lack of furniture and equipment in schools have drastically reduced the quality of education, particularly for female students. therefore, this project " Access to Accredited Education" was designed to Improve access to quality accredited formal education for the most vulnerable children in the targeted schools by providing 2598 children with bags including learning materials. Additionally, 149 female and male teachers were supported with incentives paid for the sake of engaging them in schools and keeping the schools functional during the school year.
Besides, 6 schools will be targeted and provided with learning and teaching materials to ensure a safe and friendly environment in these schools in order that the children will find a peaceful place to learn. Furthermore, there are 6 recreational kits that were supported to these targeted schools for creating an entertaining and friendly atmosphere inside schools whose impact will be positively - reflected on the psychological and emotional behavior of the children and make them committed to attending the classrooms every day.
