HK has successfully conducted the inception workshop in Dhamar
governorate.

The inception workshop was a great success and the stakeholders left the workshop empowered with the latest information on
the project and refreshed on the educational activities that will be implemented in this project. The attendance expressed their gratitude for all HK efforts and their disappointment in the low number of schools and beneficiaries. 

Distribution of Teacher's Incentives

To encourage and ensure the continuity of the education process, HK has successfully distributed incentives to 149 teachers (127 M; 22 F) from August to November 2022.

Distribution of Second Semester Books, Stationery, school needs, and recreational kits.                                                                                       

On January 25^th of 2023, the second-semester school books and complementary stationery (which include 3 notebooks with 40 papers, 3 notebooks with 60 papers, a black and blue pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, sharpener and coloring pencils), school needs and recreational kits were successfully distributed to the students in the targeted schools in Dhawran, AlHada, and AlManar districts.

Al-Tawoun School in Jabal Alsharq Rehabilitation - Dhamar governate

HK has successfully rehabilitated Al-Tawoun school, the rehabilitation process included replacing the roof, reinforcing the walls, and replacing windows to prevent further damage. In addition, the school interior was renovated, including painting and repairing the floors. As the allocation was to repair the most urgent needs to prevent collapsing. However, more funds are needed to provide the necessary furniture, materials, and WASH facilities that would complete the rehabilitation process and create a fully functional and safe school.
